The Veneto Food Excellence Awards, an initiative organized by Veneto FIPE – Italian Federation of Public Enterprises / Confcommercio – with the support and contribution of the Veneto region, are a sign of gratitude for the positive image given by these operators, nationally and internationally, in the regional territory: support for standard agri-food products.

The Veneto is the first Italian tourist area and one of the main European tourist areas. For the other provinces, 11 awards went to the province of Vicenza, 10 to Venice. followed by Belluno with 4 awards and Padova and Treviso with 3 each. Five new names are entering the rankings, including Veronese Amistà and La Cru.

For the first time, the regional award “Start & Star” was awarded, which was wanted by the newly formed Youth Group of FIPE-Confcommercio Veneto, which aims to reward traders under 40 who have distinguished themselves for results and business quality in starting or growing their activities: among them Sokol Sina, owner of La Corte Sconta in Verona.
