a day full of events Events in Caserta

Following the success of the first stage in Caserta, on Saturday 21 May Campania in Tour arrives in Mondragone, for an event organized by Cidis as part of the Impact Campania project under the free auspices of the Municipality of Mondragone. From the 11th to the 17th, Piazza Liberato Conte will host a series of initiatives dedicated to entertainment and culture, as well as information with an infopoint dedicated to the issues of immigration, immigrant associations and family hospitality.

The initiative will be an opportunity to discuss social inclusion, together with Caserta’s SAI (Reception and Integration System) operators and citizenship, and to learn about Cidis’s innovative family hospitality tools within FA.B! and The Right Place, two projects that offer different opportunities to actively participate in the development paths of young immigrants.

To enliven the day various play workshops for children, which will be able to give way to the imagination and the face, playing, the issues of intercultural. Workshops represent a way to help young children develop civic awareness by assimilating teachings and habits that will help them become adults without inclusion. The Traparentesi association, a partner of the Impact project, will also participate in the activity with the workshop “Tales from the world” which through images and playful activities will involve young people in discovering the alphabetical differences and the importance of multilingualism.

During the Campania in Tour, participants will also have the opportunity to experience the Living Library where hosts, second-generation young people and young people arriving alone in Italy will become books to read and listen to. Each book has a title that represents an aspect of the protagonist’s identity and can be borrowed for a discussion where the reader can hear the story and ask questions. The library is a tool that helps to overcome prejudices and discrimination through dialogue and knowledge.

If it is true that Campania in Tour symbolically proposes to plant a seed in the areas it reaches, this time, thanks to the partnership with Terra Mia, the seeds will actually be planted. The appointment is from 12 to 14 at Villa Comunale for the planting of two oaks, an evergreen tree, with slow growth, but which can become age-old.
