Rome, July 14. The 9th edition of the Ausonia Prize was presented in Rome, an event strongly desired by its creator and artistic director, Antonio Maria D’Amico, to promote the history of the Rizons, synonymous with identity, culture, territory and talent.

For the 2023 edition, the Ausonia Prize, created with Cinecittà as media partner, will nominate 5 laureates for 5 arts – Theater, Cinema, Culture, Fashion, Music – 5 stories of characters who changed the history of these countries and of Italy. The event will open with the Ausonia Competition (July 14-15), a challenge between 6 children in the various performing arts to earn a pass and continue their education in the world of Italian entertainment. Antonio Maria D’Amico explains: “The edition of the Ausonia Prize 2023 has an axis this year, which is the celebration of the president of our techno-scientific committee, maestro Enzo Garinei. It is based on the roots, the territory, the pure essence of art”.

From August 24 to 26, the Ausonia Film Festival will take place, with the vision of short films in competition and the meeting with Calabrian actors. The jurors of this section are the actors Isabel Russinova, Sebastiano Somma and Simone Montedoro. On September 13 and 14, again as part of the Ausonia Film Festival, workshops and masterclasses will be held, while on September 15 the venue in Calici di Ausonia, to reward the excellence of Calabrian entrepreneurship that have distinguished themselves for their ability to better narrate their country. It closes on September 16 with the Grand Gala of the Ausonia Prize, which will be held in Corigliano-Rossano (CS).
