Players rated their clubs related to several questions and categories, looking at last season. From now on, all the associations have received a note. Here is the note from HK Malmö.

Players had to answer questions related to the following main categories: service and benefits, food and travel, injuries and rehabilitation, quality of education and training, physical premises as well as summary and general impression.

HK Malmö ranks as a team 11 out of 14 according to the survey that the players answered.

Of the 14 teams in the Handball League, HK Malmö is therefore classified as a team 11 out of 14. Players are most satisfied when it comes to the physical premises category, but this is the only category where more than half of HK Malmö players who responded to the survey are ‘satisfied’ or ‘very satisfied’.

Service and Benefits

A total of 44% of HK Malmö players gave the club a fifth or sixth rating, where 6 means “very good”. This means that Malmö is listed as a team number 8 out of 14 in terms of player satisfaction in this category.

  • “They want to help a lot but don’t really get into it.”
  • “If you don’t have status, they don’t care.”
  • “I can imagine it’s going slow like everything else.”‘
  • “Always responsive in the event of a collision or problem. No problem putting the family first.
  • A player believes that the club could look into the possibilities of offering compensation other than pure money.

food and travel

A total of 33% of HK Malmö players gave the club a fifth or sixth rating, where 6 means “very good”. This means that Malmö is listed as a team number 7 out of 14 in terms of player satisfaction in this category.

  • “Before, there was always protein powder in the locker room, this is no longer the case.”
  • Several players testify that they receive too little food in connection with the matches.
  • Regarding trips to away games, it is commendable.

Injuries and rehabilitation

A total of 49% of HK Malmö players gave the club a fifth or sixth rating, where 6 means “very good”. This means that Malmö is listed as a team number 10 out of 14 in terms of player satisfaction in this category.

  • “Doctors and physiotherapists are available and you can get the help you need. There is also a fantastic masseuse.
  • “I never felt the pressure of having to play if I was in pain.”
  • “If you don’t play, you don’t exist.”

Quality of education and training

A total of 33% of HK Malmö players gave the club a fifth or sixth rating, where 6 means “very good”. This means that Malmö is listed as a team number 12 out of 14 in terms of player satisfaction in this category.

  • “It’s been a difficult season! And doesn’t help with a stressed coach then.
  • “There can be quite a few breaks to talk about special matches.
  • But also praise: “Björn is good at planning and thinks he is a very good coach.”
  • “I think the managers who are in the club have a high level. But the staff, like in many other clubs in the league, is too small.”
  • “Björn speaks in riddles, I still don’t know if he loves me.”
  • “The sporting director is good, does his best.”

Physical premises

Overall, 61% of HK Malmö players gave the club a fifth or sixth rating, where 6 means “very good”. This means that Malmö is listed as a team number 8 out of 14 in terms of player satisfaction in this category.

  • Several players think the locker room is too small and needs to be renovated.
  • Regarding the gym: “it’s a little offside, but of high quality”.

Summary and general impression

A total of 38% of HK Malmö players gave the club a fifth or sixth rating, where 6 means “very good”. This means that Malmö is listed as a team number 10 out of 14 in terms of player satisfaction in this category.

  • Applicable basis of value: “something that is often talked about in August-October and then forgotten.”
  • “If you announce that you are going through a difficult time or that you need some extra support, that works very well. On the other hand, I think that is often lacking in cases where something needs to be caught and that ‘you have to ask someone how it is.”
  • “Malmö must intervene on several fronts if they want to return to the top.”
