There is one corner of the Caribbean in the heart of Lido di Jesolo: called Caribe Bay, it covers an area of 80,000 square meters and is a completely themed water park.
A large tropical oasis, inspired by the iconic beaches of the Yucatan, recreated through 2,000 palm trees, 10,000 tons of very fine sand imported from the Caribbean, scenography and exclusive engineering solutions, such as the world's only pool with waves and sand at the bottom, capable to give visitors the same sensation as a dip in the Caribbean Sea.
Launched in 1989 as Aqualandia and renamed in 2019, the brainchild of entrepreneur Luciano Pareschi and his wife Carla Cavaliere It has been awarded 13 times as the best park at the Parksmania Awards, the Oscars for amusement parks and was included in the seven best water parks in the world, EMEA region.
The experience begins even before you enter, with the square dedicated Ernest Hemingway and the Art Nouveau station which also metaphorically marks the beginning of the journey to the Caribbean world. After passing Main Street Hemingway, with its shops and restaurants inspired by the atmosphere of Key West, you arrive at the imposing galleonwhich, along with the Tiki Arenahosts daily exciting shows with artists and acrobats from all over the world.
After the galley, here's the opening Golden Lagoon, with its crystal clear waters and sandy beaches equipped with banana leaf umbrellas, comfortable sunbeds and chiringuitos offering refreshing cocktails. It is separated by a strip of sand from Laguna de Oro Shark Bay, the park's flagship: overlooking a pirate village, it features a gorgeous sandy beach that slopes down to the water and is so realistic it's twinned with Mexico's Playa de Sisal. For little pirates looking for big adventures, it doesn't get any better than this Pirates' Bay, white sand bay with many kid-friendly attractions, a comfortable daycare and, for parents, all the relaxation of the Caribbean under umbrellas surrounded by palm trees.
Camouflaged in the tropical context and almost invisible, Caribe Bay offers 27 attractions for all tastes, including two Guinness entries: Captain Spacemakerthis the highest landslide in Europewhich allows you to exceed 100 km per hour, and the Tthe highest fixed time Bungee Jumping in Europe (60 meters). In addition to the most adrenaline-filled facilities, there are also more relaxing alternatives such as Roatanthey are alone “slow flow” immersed in one dense tropical vegetation for a fun navigation to discover the Mayan treasures looted by pirates.
Next to the park there are also Caribbean Golfa 24-hole miniature golf course that reflects the theme of the park and invites adults and children to challenge themselves among hidden treasures and corsairs ready to board, and Vanilla Clubpoint of reference for Jesolo's nightlife for young people for a complete offer of entertainment, from morning until late at night.
