Another great Danish star returns to the national championship. Henrik Toft Hansen will leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 and join Mors-Thy – having contacted the club himself.

Henrik Toft Hansen, 35, wanted to return home and he wanted to live on the west coast of Jutland. Therefore, he contacted Mors-Thy and asked about their future plans, writes Danish television 2 Sport.

– I have always had good communication with them over the years as my little brother Allan played there for several years. So he was on hand to hear them talk about their plans, he told TV 2 Sport.

Toft Hansen signed a 3-year contract starting in the summer of 2023. He played as a young player and made his senior debut at HF Mors, which is one of two merged clubs in Mors-Thy.

– They really meant a lot to me. That’s why I think it’s good to go back to the roots and come back to the region, he says.

But first a season awaits them with Paris Saint-Germain and Andreas Palicka.
