Oliver Kahn (52) wants to lead FC Bayern into the future as new CEO – the former Titan has now started his club overhaul! And he seems ready to take some tough action.
According to information from BILD, Kahn wants to rebalance the resorts of the club. In the “Bayern Insider” show on BILD Live, the BILD TV channel, we revealed that the CEO has made the “Internationalization” department a top priority.
This calls into question the future of the administrator Jörg Wacker (contract until 2023) who heads this department in addition to the “Strategy” department.

The restructuring is to be carried out within the framework of the “FC Bayern AHEAD” project, which Kahn is promoting alongside President Herbert Hainer. The project had already been presented by Kahn at the last Supervisory Board meeting on August 30.
Kahn is becoming more and more powerful in Bavaria. It is already official that Kahn will be part of the board of directors of the ECA (European Club Association) from November. He takes over the post which was previously the club’s legal adviser, with Dr. Michael Gerlinger (legal director of FC Bayern AG) in the post.
