AliExpress, the global e-commerce platform owned by the Alibaba Group, has announced that its first autonomous logistics center in Poland has been completed and will begin operations. The logistics hub was created in cooperation with Cainiao, the logistics branch of the platform. The warehouse will serve as a distribution center for AliExpress sellers shipping products directly from Poland and is the largest infrastructure investment made by AliExpress in the EEC region.

The logistics center located near Łódź covers a total area of 10,000 m². and is expected to start operating before November Singles Day on AliExpress, the world’s largest global shopping festival. Orders sent from the logistics hub will be delivered within 3 days guaranteed throughout Poland and should reach larger cities like Warsaw, ódź, Poznań, Krakow and Katowice the next day for some orders. The hub location will also be used to serve surrounding markets such as the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Germany.
