On Sunday evening, the whole neighborhood gathered at Lassons Gate on Ruseløkka for Halloween. – There will be a party when everyone gets together. People come together to eat sweets and marshmallows, says Sigrid Moldestad, one of the organizers.
The residents’ association has been organizing a Halloween parade since 2016. Here they organize both the selection of the best pumpkin of the year, eating sweets and a chance to meet the whole neighborhood.

This year there was a record turnout at Lassons gate, a narrow and cozy pedestrian street on Ruseløkka:
– We think there were about 300 people here. There were an insane amount of people. It’s clearly something that stands out, says Sigrid Moldestad, one of the organizers of the annual Halloween parade of the residents’ association Ruseløkka Skillebekk.
– It is very nice. There were a lot of people and a lot of energy, but then suddenly it was over and people went home happy and full of sweets.
