The saga opens in 2001 with the first unforgettable Shrek, a masterpiece that revolutionized the world of fairy tales and won the first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature: the film tells the story of a green dragon, grumpy but with a good heart, who must free Princess Fiona, separated in a castle, that will make his heart skip a beat. The fun continues with the second blockbuster chapter, Shrek 2;in which Shrek and Fiona must face the wrath of her parents, unwilling to accept a “monster” as a son-in-law. In the next chapter Shrek the Third in the kingdom of Far Far Away the king has died and it is necessary to find Fiona’s cousin Arthur, heir to the throne in order of succession. The green ogre, together to friends Donkey and Puss in Boots, sets off to look for him, but a surprise awaits them. The fourth and to date final chapter of the animated saga, shrek happily ever after sees Shrek struggling with the problems of a family man and a strong nostalgia for the old days: thanks to the trap set for him by the dwarf Rumplestiltskin, the actor will end up living another unforgettable adventure.
