In Florence a 360-degree journey into the universe of Dalì – Florence

Florence – A journey through illusions and allusions, facing the aesthetic of the surrealist genius, halfway between reality and digital dream, prepares to transport the public into the universe of Dalì, gathered in the Cathedral of the Image from Florence.
Art purists will have to forgo the usual parade of paintings by the Spanish painter, but they will certainly appreciate the unique approach offered by the immersive 360-degree course, in a space of 400 square meters. More than 35 minutes in contact with the master of Figueres in a mixture of advanced technology, images, artefacts, in perfect symbiosis with the poetics of the Catalan artist.

Designed, created and produced by Crossmedia Group, with the collaboration of Monogrid (Florence), expected in Florence from September 16 to January 16, the multimedia project Inside Dalí, set up by Opera Laboratori, invites visitors to follow in the footsteps of the artist who has made of himself an extraordinary and eccentric work.

To enrich the immersive space, a large museum space will allow visitors to come into contact with the probably less well-known productions of the surrealist master. I records produced by him, books and even an advertising campaign for the French railways enrich the cycle of a hundred woodcuts masterfully drawn from the watercolors drawn by the Catalan painter for the Divine comedy.

The visit of the course will also be an opportunity to appreciate the exhibition space, installed in the desecrated church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, reborn in 2015 under the name of Cathedral of the Image thanks to the intervention of Crossmedia Group which has made it a space where art, culture and customs come to life in a perfect whole.
The digitally mapped interior of the building gave birth to Italy’s first immersive art theater, hosting truly immersive exhibitions, from Van Gogh to Magritte.
