Eskilstuna Guif recruits junior Ebba Willman from VästeråsIrsta.

– It feels good. It will be incredibly fun and educational to get the chance to play in the Allsvenskan in the fall, the 18-year-old tells Guif’s website.

Ebba Willman, 18, has previously been part of the VästeråsIrsta team at SHE, but from this season she will play home games six kilometers south. Eskilstuna Guif and red jersey will be the new ones, and Willman will thus continue his career in the Allsvenskan.

– There is a good community both in the club and in the team. But also a happy band that always gives their all, she says of Guif.

Willman, who still has a year left in high school, will however stay in Västerås and travel to training and matches. The 18-year-old describes himself as a happy and motivated person, who on the handball court has a good physique, is energetic and ready to exercise.

– A fairly versatile nine-yard player, at the moment she has played a lot as a right-handed nine-yarder. A good physique to be so young, says sporting director Kristján Andrésson club website.

Willman will reunite with Tyra Schjött and Izabella Johnsson, who she was previously teammates with.

– Me and Tyra Schjött played our way to a USM silver medal last spring. Then, in previous years, I played with Izabella Johnsson in IrstaVästerås HF, she says.
