Little Hania’s parents sent this tragic message via Facebook. There they shared information about the girl’s treatment for months. Unfortunately, they announced late Sunday evening that their daughter had lost the battle with cancer.

Parents previously told that Hania had recently had tests that showed she had tumors on her liver. These were metastases diseaseswhich the girl had been fighting for a long time. Even then it was certain that there was no salvation for her. The little girl from Kielce passed away today at… 9.30.

Terrible illness of little Hania

Let us remind you that all of Poland lived the history of little Hania Terlecka at the beginning of 2019 and 2020. As we reported, when she was only 18 months old, the girl had to struggle with a terrible disease. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor. At the start of treatment, Hania stayed with her parents at the Children’s Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw.

Getting Hania to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Ohio in the US for expensive treatment took more than 5.1 million PLN. The family, friends and neighbors of the girl’s parents started a major aid campaign. The staff of Hania’s helpers grew day by day. It was even difficult to name charitable campaigns, the proceeds of which were spent on the treatment of a young girl from Kielce. The effect of the action was immediate – almost 6.5 million PLN was collected within a few days. More than a hundred thousand people donated the money.

At the end of last year, the girl returned from the US. She would be treated with molecular chemistry for two years in Poland.
