For the second consecutive year the Lazio Youth Card, Lazio Region app dedicated to under 30s wins European Youth Card award for “Benefit and discounts” thanks to its ability to steal young people from all over the region.
The award was presented by the European Youth Card Association (Eyca), a non-governmental and non-profit association active in 38 organizations across Europe and over 6 million young people in 36 countries across Europe. An important milestone that shows how the Lazio Youth Card – with his team more than 2000 partner organizations including culture, theater, books, music, cinema, entertainment and sport – has found smart and effective answers to the request for an increasingly complex framework of activities and events, also due to the pandemic that concerned more than all young people.

Every year EYCA celebrates the achievements of its member organizations through the EYCA Excellen-ce awards. The winners of the Excellence Awards were announced at the final event of the EYCA Annual Conference.

The Lazio Youth Card numbers

The Lazio Youth Card is Lazio Region youth card launched in early 2019, which is now based on a community of 100,000 young people and over 2,000 local, regional, national and international partners. Lazio, along with Sardinia, is the only Italian Region to have a recognized youth card in Europe.

Since 2019, more than 15,000 free movie tickets, 3,000 concert tickets, 10,000 book coupons for independent bookstores, 7,000 tickets for Opera, 10,000 tickets for sporting events and trade fairs have been sold and more than 80,000 young people have traveled for free on public transport. The Lazio Region through Laziocrea joined the Eyca, the “Youth Card” network of European countries.
