Dutch driver Max Verstappen of the Red Bull team won the Las Vegas Grand Prix in Formula 1, marking his eighteenth victory of the season. With this triumph, he improved his own record and took his 53rd career victory, tying Sebastian Vettel for third place in the all-time standings.
In “Sin City,” Verstappen beat Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc by more than two seconds. Leclerc overtook Sergio Pérez, the Mexican driver of the Red Bull team, on the last lap, who still secures second place in the championship ahead of Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton, seventh today.

The celebrities have arrived in Vegas
The F1 Grand Prix returned to Las Vegas after 41 years and attracted many celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment, including David Beckham, Usain Bolt, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Brad Pitt, Kylie Minogue and Rihanna.
The race was full of dramatic moments. Verstappen he received a five-second penalty pushing Leclerc off the track and to the back of the peloton, there were several collisions. Despite these complications, Verstappen managed to hold on to the lead and cruise towards victory.
Formula 1 will end this season next week with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
