After last year’s strong recovery, this year it is back again to Cunardo it “International Folklore Festival”organized by the grassroots group “The Tencitts”which will take place on weekends 14-15-16 and 21-22-23 July.
Every year it is more and more difficult to organize events of this caliber, amidst various setbacks, problems and a lot of red tape, but this year too, “The Tencitts” managed to get back into the game so he could bring the dances, costumes and colors of folk groups from around the world to his stage Hut for cross-country skiers and in the territory of Cunardo and the surrounding areas.
The “International Folklore Festival”now in its 36th edition, this year it will host teams from Moldova, Georgia, Romania and New Zealand.
After the official opening of the Festival on Tuesday July 11 atFormentano Park Amphitheaterin the heart of the country’s historic center, the event will take place on weekends at Hut for cross-country skierswith a rich food base with delicious different specials every night, delicious desserts and always functional bar service.
Not only folklore for this 36th edition, but many surprises, including the Dance night with the “Oscar Taboni” Orchestra on Saturday, July 15.
Also this year there will be i “Fashion show” of “Varese Pellicce” on Sunday 16 July and “Non Solo Borse” on Sunday 23 July as well as the performance of the ballet school “Salsanueva” on Saturday 22 July.
The program of the event will therefore be very varied and full of fun, accompanied by a culinary stand that will surprise every night with different specialties. The event is now known and appreciated throughout the national territory and the world, thanks also to the collaboration with other international festivals and the patronage of certain foundations, and today counts the participation of groups from all the Italian regions and from 40.
