For Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a promotion in the Champions League play-offs in ours is highly unlikely.

Milan lost the away game to Porto 0-1 and are still scoreless in Group B.

Milan came to the match against Porto without Franck Kessié and Theo Hernández, absent due to suspension and illness. And Zlatan Ibrahimovic started on the bench.

Porto came out the best and created the most in the first half, but the game went goalless at half time. Milan needed a change and many wondered when Ibrahimovic would come onto the pitch.

That’s exactly what he did in the 58th minute, but the Swede couldn’t influence the game in Milan’s favor.

Instead, it was Porto’s Luis Diaz who found the right place with a well-placed shot at 1-0 which was the end result.

Ibrahimovic was disappointed with the effort after the game.

“Did not earn any points”

– We didn’t earn any points. It’s the worst game we’ve ever played. But it’s football. For many in this team, it is the first time in the Champions League, they have to grow and learn, he confided to Mediaset after the match.

The defeat means Milan are still scoreless in the squad after three games.

– There are three games left. As long as there is a chance, we aim to reach the goal, says Ibrahimovic.

In the match between Atlético Madrid and Liverpool, it all broke down. A fast-paced first half contained four goals.

First of all, it is perhaps the best player in the world at the moment, Mohamed Salah, who turned the opposing defense and unleashed a shot controlled by James Milner.

Naby Keita then extended to 2-0.

Griezmann and the center

Then Antoine Griezmann came forward, in several ways. First, he took a cut on Koke shots. Then he found space in the penalty area and set the equalizer at 2-2.

He started the second half with a high kick. So hard that he hit Milner in the face with the cleats. The referee pulled the red card and pointed to the Frenchman.

Liverpool took advantage of the advantage. Salah got the chance from the penalty spot and scored what would be the game-winning goal.

But before it was over, it looked like he was spinning again. The referee blew a penalty for Atlético, but after consultation with VAR, the penalty was abandoned due to filming.

– It was a tough game. We expected that too, but maybe not that they would play so defensively. But it wasn’t easy, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp tells BT Sport.

The victory means Liverpool lead the group with nine points. Atlético Madrid and Porto each have four points after three matches in Group B.
