The preparatory matches continue. Teams are testing new squads and players and working out the final details before the start of the new season. In the third round, Toronto beat Petr Mrázek at the Ottawa gate and newcomer Seattle Kraken attempted his first raids.

Czech players shone in the Toronto jersey. The Maple Leaves defeated the Senators thanks to Petr Mrázek with a clean count of 4-0. David Kampf added a blow to Bunting’s hat trick.

The shock of the Czech goalies during the game between Anaheim and Arizona was interesting. Lukáš Dostál stood in the first-team goal and Karel Vejmelka defended the Coyote net for the final third of the test. He recovered a clean sheet, but Dostál took the puck out of the net four times in total. Dmitry Yashkin walked out empty-handed.

Dominik Kubalík scored in a Chicago shirt, but his shot was not enough to win. His team led for a long time, but at the end of the third period Detroit tied it at 3: 3 and in separate raids he completed the turn to the winning end.

And the first raids in club history were also attempted by league newcomer Seattle Kraken. Giordano and Schwartz scored the Rulers first but Calgary tied the score 2: 2 and in the third period both teams scored one goal each – Backlund scored the Flames and Schwartz scored the second shot for Seattle . Kraken then handled the raids thanks to Eberlem and McCann 2: 1.
