For the sixth year in a row, MAKRO celebrated International Business Day with the MAKRO and METRO wholesale networks in 22 countries around the world. Thus, the company thanks independent entrepreneurs and highlights the role they play in the daily lives of consumers, which is hard to imagine without a store around the corner, a coffee in a corner cafe or a family dinner at a favorite restaurant. The motto of this year’s Own Business Day – How to Celebrate Is Only With You – aims to promote the idea of ​​supporting local small and medium entrepreneurs by increasing the frequency of visits to their favorite places to consumers.

The Own Business Day campaign for entrepreneurs started on September 6 and lasted until October 12. On the occasion of the holidays, a film was shown on large format screens in the centers of Polish cities: at the Rotunda and at the Warsaw Central Station, at the Poznań Główny station, at the Bagatela theater building near the old town in Krakow and the main train station in Katowice. MAKRO has also prepared many promotions and special offers for its customers visiting the halls. On the occasion of the Own Business Day, 3,000 key customers of the network received a special thank you from its representatives in the form of a box in the colors of the festival.
