From October 15 to 23, the World Kickboxing Championships for Seniors and Veterans took place in Jessolo, Italy, near Venice. There were also Kashubians in the championship. Coach Patryk Zaborowski, as well as the Polish kick-light team in kickboxing, took 3rd place in the medal table, while Nikodem Bigus, the leader of the Kartuzy rebellion, took a solid 5th place in the world.
