InPost Brzoski is a listed company, and therefore very sensitive to various reports about its business or owner. It turns out that the scandal in the eyes of investors is practically nonexistent. At the start of Monday’s trading day, the company’s shares not only did not go down, but also rose.
In the first 30 minutes of trading, stocks appreciated by around 1.5%. The very good moods did not last long, because already around 10 am the InPost quotes lost their advantage. However, there is no question of a sale of shares.
The bottom line for investors is the bottom line, and InPost does it. And that’s more important than the owner’s smaller or larger image blunders.
InPost vs. AliExpress
Rafał Brzoska’s company must also defend itself against the network operator to recover the packages from AliExpress. The Świat Uploads group, which has been installing Cainiao network machines in Poland since the start of this year, believes that InPost restricts competition through provisions in contracts with property owners.
According to “Puls Biznesu” on Monday, a competitor of InPost sent a notification about this to the Competition and Consumer Protection Office (UOKiK).
– In our opinion, InPost does not fully comply with the law by signing non-competition agreements with owners. We sent a letter to UOKiK about this and we hope that the content of the contracts will change – says Piotr Kocoń, president of Świat Przesył, quoted by PB.
Rafał Brzoska is one of the richest Poles. The American magazine “Forbes” estimated his fortune at 5.7 billion PLN.
