Andrej Rubljov is the fifth tennis player to qualify for the ATP Champions Tournament Final Round. The 24-year-old from Moscow will be among the top eight players of the season for the second year in a row, having not advanced from the squad to London last year. This year, for the first time, the venue will be the Turin Tournament of Champions from November 14 to 21.

The fact that Rubljov is already sure, informed the association ATP after the publication of the tournament lottery in Vienna. “I am very happy to be among the top eight players in the world again. It is a unique and prestigious tournament,” said the Russian tennis player, currently sixth player in the world rankings.
This year, Rubljov has a record of 47 wins and 18 losses, won the title in March in Rotterdam and reached the final of two Masters – in Monte Carlo and Cincinnati. Serbian Novak Djokovic, another Russian Daniil Medvedev, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and German Alexander Zverev have already fought as far as Turin.

Italian Matteo Berrettini, Nor Casper Ruud and Pole Hubert Hurkacz still occupy the remaining positions. Rafael Nadal, the eighth player in the ranking of the season, has already ended the season for health reasons.
