After the success of the brass ensemble Ofi, 10th by the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra, the SCENA 1312 dates continue! Sunday, August 14 Libertango, the tribute to Astor Piazzolla on the centenary of his birth, starring the Ensemble Dodecacellos. A monograph dedicated to tango and the composer, with pieces by writers who have been influenced by the great Argentine musician and continued his musical discourse. The Dodecacellos Ensemble was born in 2010 and is the only cello ensemble in Italy.

IN AUGUST

For Monday, August 15, as every year, the streets of Bardonecchia host Ferragosto in musica: three musical acts between Via Medail and Borgo Vecchio for the middle of August not to be missed! Tequila Street Band’s eclectic and friendly traveling musicians range from 50’s swing to Italian and Neapolitan classics, soundtrack, folk, Latin, pop, … FVG Trumpet Ensemble consists of young professionals who have won many national and international competitions, ready to immerse you in an atmosphere of fun with an eclectic repertoire ranging from great baroque classics to film music masterpieces. Finally, Baklava Klezmer Soul is a young group, formed in May 2017, offering arrangements of Klezmer music in a Balkan key with Gipsy references. Bands are joined by face painting, workshops and entertainment on the streets of Bardonecchia.

SCENE 1312 will end on Saturday August 20 with Rebel Bit, an innovative group of musicians. With five nominations at the Contemporary “A Cappella” Recording Awards (Boston, USA) and five “A cappella” Video Awards (Los Angeles, USA), they make their debut in the world of international vocal music with a disc based on the original show of the same name. PAPER FLIGHTS. Their sound is influenced by the various contaminations that have characterized the artistic development of the group members with an eye always on electronic experimentation and innovation.
