Speedway: New Information About Greg Hancock’s Wife

Two years ago, the speedway community learned that Greg Hancock was retiring from the sport. However, the American’s decision was for obvious family reasons. The wife of a four-time world champion was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Initially, when the family was due to return to the United States in 2018 after a season in Europe, Jennie Hancock underwent an examination that found a lump in her breast. However, to confirm the diagnosis, additional tests were needed, which this time did not confirm the original assumptions. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but as it turned out, not for long. After a few months, Jennie felt a lump, confirming her initial suspicion of breast cancer. Greg Hancock’s wife underwent numerous surgeries and treatments to recover. Today the whole family can enjoy Jennie’s fight and everything is looking very good right now, admitted by the eldest son.

– Mom is fine. She has had most of her surgeries and treatments. She is happy to be back and uses every second. She’s a fighter and I think I get all my strength from her because my mom never gives up. I love her the most in the world. He’s just a phenomenal person who pushes me every day to be a better person,” says Wilbur Hancock.
