“Stradacalciando” is back: meet at Nicholas Green Park

The new edition of “Stradacalciando 2022” will take place on Saturday, May 21, starting at 4.30 pm, at Nicholas Green Park in Rome (Torrevecchia, on Via Odoardo Giove).

The initiative is promoted by the LND Lazio Regional Committee and the Lazio Youth and Schools Department of FIGC, in collaboration with Municipalities XIII and XIV of Roma Capitale and under the auspices of CONI Lazio.

This is an important return for the event, after the pandemic period, which will be attended by many children aged 5 to 10 years (categories Little Friends And First kicks), who will thus be able to take to the streets, in complete safety, to play the most beautiful sport in the world. For the organizers, the event is a “kick in the pandemic”.

“Stradacalciando” will revive for one day a football that is now forgotten and almost impossible for today’s children, especially in the big cities. Football is played on the street, marking the pitch and goals with what is available and to bring sport back to its original essence: play and fun.

The aim of the project is to promote playful-motor activity between boys and girls who want to try their hand at football through less artificial teaching-sports processes, which recreate this “natural” dimension that has been lost in recent years.

All children aged 5 to 10 can participate. Participation is free. The little ones will participate in mini 3 vs 3 races.
