House of Vibes 2023: interview with Mark Di Meo and Mike Tozzi

TERMOLI. When a Termolese leaves his homeland, he does so in search of a better future of work or study.

This happened to a boy we have known since childhood. But for a while we didn’t hear anything from him, then suddenly the boom.

The young DJ made a splash in the United States, bringing his home country to the top. In the temple of world music producers, Mark Di Meo paved the way for us and established himself as a great DJ thanks to his skills and his productions.

Our Mark, now 40, has lived in Los Angeles, California for years, is married with a son, and is an international DJ, producer, remixer and CEO of Soulstice Music Label.

His appearances include the biggest clubbing centers around the world. From Italy, Greece, Spain, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Switzerland, United States, China, Mexico, Germany, Costa Rica, Emirates, Angola, Mozambique Islands, Poland, Japan, North Korea, South Africa and more.

Mark has played alongside greats such as Louie Vega, Kerri Chandler, Terry Hunter, Joe Claussell, Kenny Dope, Hector Romero, Kenny Carpenter and many more. He is currently working with some of the best House labels in the world including Defected, Soulstice Music, Quantize, Solid Ground, King Street Sounds, Reel People Music, Sedsoul and the list goes on.

He is the creator and organizer of “Soulstice Music Celebration”, “House of Vibes” and “Suevian” which are some of the biggest Soulful & Deep House Parties in Italy and around the world (Miami WMC, ADE Amsterdam…).

These parties always feature Louie Vega, Kenny Carpenter, Yass, Hallex M, Guy Robin, Sean McCabe, Master Kev, Duce Martinez, N’Dinga Gaba, Oscar P, Souldynamic, Dave Doyle, Tony Loreto, Pablo Martinez, Rafael Moraes, Rightsside and other big names in the music scene. Mark continues to go strong in the Studio and Djing and we hope to see him on a dance floor soon!

He has been back at his Termoli for a few weeks now and with his trusted partner Mike Tozzi, another prominent figure from Termoli who lives in Milan and is always in close contact with Mark. Mike is an experienced cocktail maker and he and Mark are in full swing as the 2023 ‘House of Vibes’ festival kicks off on Wednesday.

Termoli will look like a huge disco that will remind you of the fashionable and very popular ones in Ibiza. More than twenty internationally renowned DJs will take part in this great festival.

Mark in his exclusive interview with Mike Tozzi only revealed one of them by name… and what a name to add! The others are already in Termoli, staying in the various scattered hotels, ready to unleash the nightlife of Termoli and Basso Molisana.

Mark Di Meo, pride of Termoli, was awarded a few years ago with the “Gente di Mare” award, which is given to those people of Termoli who distinguish themselves by bringing the name of Termoli to the top.

To this day, Mark is truly among the great music producers, without exaggeration, in the world. Termoli in these four days of music, dance and entertainment will be the capital of House Music. The best in town!
