CASTEL DEL GIUDICE (IS) – Performances, music, amazing performances transform the heart of Castel del Giudice on August 16 and 17 for the 8th edition of the Casteldelgiudice Buskers Festival, the international and multicultural revue of street art in Molise. Street artists from different corners of the world make the Apennine village of Molise on the border with Abruzzo enchanted, to amaze adults and children with exciting shows. A unified event that is enriched every year with initiatives and that brings to the stage great artists with international experience. An event that returns to fill the city of Molise with fun and charm for two days, engaging the public with new street show surprises between the central square of Castel del Giudice and the panoramic square of the Borgotufi Hotel.

From 17:00 everyone will be able to try their hand at the traditional Cai Mercati games, and then at 18:00 the street food area will open with food stalls that are an expression of the region, such as gourmet burgers, kebabs, truffle dishes, sandwiches, crepes and cotton candy. Performances will begin at 8pm, featuring eclectic artists from Togo, Portugal, Chile, Germany, Argentina and Italy. You will be mesmerized by the acrobatics between dances and stilts by the Afuma company, and emotions will be on edge with the highly visual performance of the Piccolo Nuovo Teatro, which always has new surprises in store. We will have a lot of fun with the improvisations of clown, acrobat and actor Daniel Gonçalves, who among his many professional experiences, was the star of the Disney movie Dumbo, directed by Tim Burton.

And then the Mistral, with its approximately 5 meter high Chinese pole, will engage the spectators in a performance at the limit of what is possible. Wandering through the narrow streets of Castel del Giudice, your gaze will be captivated by the flames of Creme&Brulé, which combine puppetry with the art of fire manipulation with humor and talented numbers. The hypnotic groove of techno and the power of the horns of the street band Bandakadabra will guide the audience from one performance to the next. While the stunts of Los Filonautas will keep everyone in suspense.

Entry to the Casteldelgiudice Buskers Festival is free and free. The event is linked to the Apple Festival on October 14th and 15th, 6th experiential edition with the best producers of natural and organic specialties of Molise and Abruzzo, tastings, guided tours, nature, walking and e-bike tours, workshops and music , apple picking and street artist shows. The Casteldelgiudice Buskers Festival is organized by the Municipality of Castel del Giudice and the Pro loco of Castel del Giudice. The artistic direction of the festival has been entrusted to Gigi Russo, one of the pioneers of events related to street art in Italy. The festival is part of the “Tourism is Culture” program of the Department of Tourism of the Molise Region.
