GRADARA – The tenth edition of “The Magic Castle Gradara” ended yesterday, Wednesday, August 9, an appointment of fun, colors and imagination organized by Pro loco Gradara in collaboration with the Municipality, under the artistic direction of Marcello Franca. And the tenth edition ended with a real success with the audience and a full show, artists and performers that left not only children speechless but also adults. In fact, the program that Marcello Franca has planned for this very special edition is very rich, a synthesis of 10 years of emotions and adventure: outstanding international artists, four magical evenings in Gradara attended by tens of thousands of visitors. ages and origins. The family-loved summer event sold out again this year, filling the village in the Marche region with joy and wonder amid spectacular stage settings, live music, dance and street performances. From August 6 to 9, Gradara turned into a great celebration of emotions, music and colors that welcomed many thousands of visitors starting in the late afternoon with shows, performances, dances and street music followed until midnight with the spectacular “explosion” of colorful confetti between the enthusiastic screams of adults and children. “The tenth edition was really a great party – says satisfied art director of The Magic Castle Gradara, the eclectic Marcellus Franca – we received a fantastic hug full of joy and affection from the very large audience that filled the village with surprise and excitement over the four nights. Since the first year, we have proposed excellent artists from all over the world who can fascinate children of all ages, but also all adults who always remain a little like children and who let themselves be enchanted by the magical atmosphere that only this event can provide.

Gradara’s pro loco president is also enthusiastic Tiziano Marchetti who takes the opportunity to take stock: “in these ten years we have seen tens of thousands of children grow up with us who today have become young adults, but remain deeply attached and loyal to our event. The strength of The Magic Castle is also that it is an event for everyone, from families, couples, Italians and foreign tourists. And all this would not be possible without the valuable cooperation of all the volunteers who have participated since the first edition to make it a truly magical event for everyone.” Gradara’s strength, not only for this special event but for every initiative, is participation: the whole village is involved in the stories, demonstrations, parties and reenactments. From cursed lovers Paolo and Francesca, to armed fights and medieval traditions. There is so much to see and experience at Gradara, made all the more exciting and engaging by the enthusiasm of the volunteers, extras, historical groups, artists and those available to make every event special.

Looking for the program of these special days of the Magic Castle, some of the artists who, over the years, have made the public stick with this magical event, landed in Gradara, along with many new entries from around the world: the Dutch label Close -Act Theater accompanying the event from the first edition with the magnificent Saurus, giant prehistoric dragons. Ukrainian acrobat Sergey Timofeev graduated from the Academy of Variety and Circus Arts in Kyiv. From France Moz Drums with the Lighted Drummers – a group of glittering drummers – and The Mirrors, characters covered in hundreds of mirrors. From Egypt Emad Selim with his exciting Sufi dance full of pirouettes and colors. From Argentina, Verónica González with the Teatro dei Piedi and her poetic stories. From Austria body painting wizard Johannes Stoetter with his giant chameleon. eVolution Dance Theater Company with its innovative combination of dance, acrobatics and illusion. The exceptional dancers of the Negma Dance Group, finalists of Italia’s Got Talent, who brought to Gradara for the first time their Show in the style of Bollywood Musical, the dance of Indian cinema, exciting and exciting. And many other fantastic traveling artists on the streets of Gradara village, who once again made this event unforgettable.
