COME BACK. Music, fun and magic return to the most evocative corners of the village, with the third edition of the Tornareccio Music Camp, scheduled from July 17 to 21.

There will be five days of workshops and concerts curated and promoted by the Municipality of Tornareccio, the cultural association L’Olandese Volante and the Musicando Educational Center of Pescara, in collaboration with the Contrappunto Choir, the Association of Friends of Artistic Mosaic and the Pro Loco of Gyrna back .

The event, which has the artistic direction of the teacher Manuela Martinelli, will be structured as usual in workshops, in which more than 40 children from all over Abruzzo will participate, musical events and concerts, which will take place in the village and in the evocative naturalistic setting of Monte Pallano, and other initiatives, always related to the world of music and the promotion of the region, which are the main objectives of the event.

The course program includes the flute ensemble workshop with teacher Manuela Martinelli, the chamber music workshop with teachers Myriam Anzini and Federico Del Principio and the orchestral workshop with teacher Riccardo Rossi. Guest of the third edition of the Music Camp is maestro Bruno Giordana, saxophonist of great Italian songwriters, from Renato Zero to Fiorella Mannoia, who will meet the boys and perform – on July 20 – with the Film Opera Ensemble in an exciting musical journey. in memory of conductor Ennio Morricone. Also participating in this year’s edition is Maxi Manzo, a young Italian-Argentine artist of Tornaccian origin, who is also the coordinator for Abruzzo appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the Roots Tourism project.

Among the other scheduled events: the concert in the San Giovanni area (18 July), the performance of the “Young interpreters” in the Multipurpose Hall (19 July) and the last concert of the Tornareccio Music Camp Orchestra which will take place on 21 July. in the natural theater of Monte Pallano, where for one night the historical richness, uncontaminated nature and musical notes will unite in a unique performance of its kind. Monte Pallano, with its archaeological site, is a place loved by the Municipality of Tornareccio, so that it will soon start a regeneration project for the area with the Archaeological Supervision, Fine Arts and Landscape of Abruzzo and the Polo Museum of Abruzzo.
