Trump creates his own social network – Computerworld

Donald Trump (former US president) announced yesterday that he was launching his own social network. The app that supports the service is called TRUTH Social and can now be ordered from the App Store. Next month, the service will be available to guests, and in the first quarter of 2022, it will be made available to all internet users.

TRUTH Social is managed by TMTG (Trump Media & Technology Group) created by Trump. It announces that it will be made public in the coming months, after merging with Digital World Acquisition Corp.

In a statement issued on the occasion, Trump wrote: “I created the social network TRUTH and the company TMTG to counter the tyranny of Big Tech companies. And he continues, “We live in a world where the Taliban have access to Twitter and your favorite US president is banned.”
