Thrill seekers around the world have a new destination to reach. It’s about Wonderland Eurasiathe largest theme park in Europe.
The grand project was officially opened Anchorin Turkey, and offers countless unmissable attractions. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated the structure on Wednesday, announcing that it is a project that is not only a symbol of pride for Ankara, but also for all of Turkey. With 1.3 million square meters, Eurasia Wonderland is the largest theme park in Europe. It consists of 26 main attractions including 14 roller coasters and about 2177 smaller attractions. But, above all, it is three times the size of Magic Kingdom Park, the first theme park built inside Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida.
Wonderland Eurasia also includes several areas dedicated to potential concerts, a “Digital Dark Ride”, a 75-meter tower and an area dedicated to dinosaurs of about 20,000 square meters in size with – inside a 70-meter animatronic T-rex. In addition to all the attractions and rides, the park also hosts the second largest fountain al world, whose height reaches 120 meters.
To build the entire structure, about 1.4 billion Turkish Liras (about 215 million euros) were spent over five years of work. The park project started about six years ago and was completed just last year.
In addition, there are still security concerns surrounding the entire Eurasian Wonderland. The Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) highlighted the presence of rust in some mechanisms and obvious structural problems. President Erdogan, however, insisted that the new park will allow you to collect over 50 million Turkish Liras annually (over 7 million euros) and which in its first year will attract the presence of 5 million visitors: for this reason approximately 6800 parking spaces have been created.
The world’s biggest theme parks have always been very successful over the years. The largest indoor theme park is located in Dubai, while the largest underwater theme park in the world is located in Bahrain.
Safety concerns aside, the new park has already generated a lot of excitement among thrill-seekers and high-adrenaline attraction lovers.
