The U18 men get a solid points tally against Spain at the end of the group stage. For women competing in the U18 World Cup, the fun really begins with the quarter-final against South Korea.

Two very interesting blue and yellow matches close the handball weekend.

At the European Championships in Podgorica, Sweden did enough to stop the Faroe Islands with super youngster Oli Mittun, then picked up the pace again against France.
Spain on the other side of the pitch means a clean group final, but no rest with assured progression. Two nice points can significantly improve the starting position in the main round.

On Sunday evening there is a fire in Skopje, where Sweden entered the WC tournament. South Korea are undefeated and strong in attack, in the national team camp they are promoting the idea that there is nothing to lose.

– They (South Korea) play fast handball with lots of combinations. It will be difficult to face, but we are eager to take on this task, says Tomas Axnér to handbollslandslaget.se.

– This team has fulfilled the expectations that could be placed on it. Everything here after is a pure bonus, he continues.
