We cordially invite you to an online ecological show “Girl with matches. The world of smog” realized as part of public educational campaigns by Eko Cykl Organizacja Odzysku Opakowań SA

The show is about the problem of smog, waste incineration in home stoves and the threats to our health from air pollution.

The performance is inspired by the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen and the girl with the matches symbolizes a planet whose fate is still indifferent to many inhabitants. The show is narrated by Maciej Orłoś. The pieces for the performance were prepared by the composer and lyricist Janek Traczyk. Bartłomiej Zaniewicz is responsible for the dance choreography – a dancer, trainer, dance instructor, choreographer, aerial acrobat, actor and theater artist, stunt performer. The soloist of Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas – Natalia Dylczyk in the role of costume designer.

The purpose of the performance is to raise environmental awareness, draw attention to health and environmental threats from air pollution, achieve a more responsible attitude towards waste management and develop the skills of selective waste collection. The event also aims to support teachers celebrating their holiday today – National Education Day.
