Saudi daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat reported that there were disagreements at Al-Ittihad between coach Nun Espirito Santo and the club’s biggest star, Karim Benzema.

It is also supported by other indications. Benzema reportedly asked for the captain’s armband but the Portuguese coach reportedly refused to give it to him.
The Frenchman arrived as a free agent from Real Madrid, al-Ittihad lured him for a king’s salary, with which he can match even Cristiano Ronaldo.
