After 19 long years in the world’s most famous leagues, he has shown himself to coaches in several training sessions and has shown that he definitely has something to offer the team.
The 38-year-old center, who is decorated with a big hit for the bulls, will help Motor in Sunday’s hit against Hradec Králové. If and how he will help afterwards, that will be the subject of further agreements between the coaches, management and the very experienced striker.
Jiří Novotný is proud of two junior titles in the extra league, participation in four junior or junior world championships, four seasons in the NHL, 9 in the KHL, where he played with the Prague Lion and the finals. And above all, there is the participation in the Olympic Games in Sochi and eight senior world championships, of which he won two bronzes and especially the title of world champion in 2010.
Last season he played a practically full part of the matches in all of Switzerland’s top Ambri-Piotta competition, and when he rebounded to play in the regional league this season, he scored 5 goals in two matches and scored 7 points.
