Half a century of Tonino Mansi: big party and fireworks, between irony and fun

He passed half a century of life with his loved ones, amid fun, light heartedness and many surprises. Last Friday at the Torre Normanna restaurant in Maiori there was a big party for Antonio “Tonino” Mansi who blew out his first fifty candles. There were his old friends, the Minori, from Ravello and from “Proscenio”, the theater club of which Tonino is one of the most passionate members. Special guest is the actress from Salerno, Annarita Vitolo, who is now part of the big Proscenio family. The souls of the team could not miss the mayor Andrea Reale. Also present was Salvatore De Riso, Tonino's longtime friend, who curated the buffet and the cake with his sweet masterpieces.

Everything arranged down to the smallest detail, according to the style of the Proto Brothers: of course fine wines and champagne strictly selected by the birthday boy himself. On the terrace good music, fun and a lot of irony, just as Tonino likes: on the console Rosario Sepe, “the voice of love” who made everyone dance. The turnout was unanimous to some epic Squallor songs: the birthday boy, wearing the jersey of his favorite team, Juventus, received very original gifts. Among the most extravagant were some bottles of the well-known soft drink Chinotto and several telegrams of greetings, including one signed by Enrico Letta, secretary of the Democratic Party and some businessmen synonymous with excellence in the world of food. Of course it was all in jest, knowing Tonino's ideas and beliefs, his right-wing allegiance, his passion for theater and fireworks. In recent years, a campaign against #marcheta from food bloggers, influencers and self-proclaimed communicators when it comes to discussing the world of food and wine. Note his social crusade in which he spares no one.

The fun-filled evening concluded with the traditional cutting of the cake and the inevitable (and memorable) fireworks from the rocks and the sea (it couldn't have been otherwise) by the award-winning company Cavaliere Senatore from Cava de' Tirreni. .

Visibly moved by the affection he received, Tonino, with his son Carlo and his parents Carlo and Rita and his sister Carolina at his side, thanked everyone, evoking sincere friendship and genuine passions.
