How can we keep the spread of infections low? July 24, 2020 – Vetenskapstradion News

State epidemiologist Anders Tegnell is back after the holidays and is now facing a completely new phase of the pandemic. The spread of infections throughout the country is decreasing, which he believes may have to do with the fact that we spend a lot of time outside, that a certain immunity has been built up and that we all still keep a decent distance.

There is now new guidance on tracking infections and the Public Health Agency say testing of asymptomatic people can take place in certain contexts.

Three different scenarios before the fall, the Public Health Agency shows. One of the scenarios shows continued very low spread of the infection, another scenario points to local outbreaks and a third shows increased spread of the infection this fall, but not as high as last spring.
