Hello and welcome LIVE LIVE of the Cortina descent, which is valid for the Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup 2021-2022. The spotlight was on Italy, especially Sofia Goggia in two fundamental days for the Bergamo-born, returning from the unfortunate weekend in Zauchensee where she fell victim to a daring fall.

During the two days of testing, Sofia Gojia dispelled any doubts about her physical condition by setting the best time achieved on the first day, but bypassing a door in the second part of the track. The Blues in the World Cup need to recover little less than three hundred points to Mikaela Shiffrin, but before the Olympics there will be two more racing weekends dedicated to fast tests and therefore, despite Zauchensee’s “slogan”, there is still a way to reassemble it.

Headlights in Italy and Federica Brignone going through a great form momentum that was confirmed by third and seventh in the tests on Thursday and yesterday, for the Delago sisters which have been shown to be in a state of development. Goggia will start with 7, Brignone with 8, Nadia Delago with 11, Nicol Delago with 14, Curtoni with 15, Bassino with 16, Marsaglia with 30, Melesi with 44. Lara Gut-Behrami, Ramona Siebenhofer, Corinne Suter and Kira Weidle are the big favorites along with the blue. Even American Bruce Johnson, who missed the Zauchensee away game due to injury, appeared in the first test in excellent condition, while the underdogs could be the Czech Ledecka, the Norwegian Mowinckel, the Swiss Haehlen and the American Wiles.

OA Sport offers you the LIVE LIVE of the second downhill Cortina timed test, valid for the Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup 2021-2022. It starts at 11.30. Have fun!
