The Linus Media group today employs more than 100 people. Until now, Linus Sebastian was responsible as CEO of LMG, the merchandise producers of Creator Warehouse and Floatplane Media and, in addition to the creative activities, he also led the organizational sector of the companies. As a new video shows, he will now abandon this leadership position.

The reason Linus gives is that he never really considered himself a boss. He is a creative mind who prefers to design, moderate and interact with the community. But don't worry, he will still be part of the Linus Media Group and will appear in videos. In his new role as Chief Vision Officer, he will once again have greater influence on the content of the different channels.

Terren Tong replaces him as CEO. He was already Linus' superior when he was still working at the Canadian computer store NCIX and was in the meantime responsible for operations at Corsair and Dell.

As for the ownership of Linus Media Group, Sebastian himself and his wife Yvonne will remain the sole shareholders. There was even a $100 million offer in the past, but they turned it down.
