Madeleine Gustafsson will keep the HK Malmö goal

After a break from handball, Madeleine Gustafsson is back. HK Malmö presents her as a new goalkeeper of the club.

– It’s a very strong and important recruitment, says sporting director Robert Månsson club website.

Madeleine Gustafsson has SHE and Allsvenskan matches on her resume and now she’s back on the handball pitch after a break. Gustafsson will keep the HK Malmö goal going forward.

– I am extremely happy that Madde wanted to jump on the train with us in HK Malmö. His resume, of course, speaks for itself. Her dismissal doesn’t worry me too much because with the help of our goalkeeping coach Jerka, I’m sure we’ll get the best out of her. Her experience will of course be important for the group, but also for our young goalkeepers, who can now relax in senior handball, specifies team coach Pierre Gaum at club website.

Gustafsson is looking forward to the challenges ahead and to being back on the pitch.

– I have been in HK Malmö for a few years now and I see an association with drive, commitment and clear goals. Malmö also thinks very carefully about player development, which I really appreciate. It will be exciting to tie my shoes again and I can’t wait to be part of the adventure with a group of good girls and talented leaders,” Madeleine Gustafsson told club website.

The club’s management is happy to bring routine and experience to the team.

– Madde will bring great experience to our young team. Despite a break from handball, she showed during the pre-season what a quality player she is. Madde’s entry will give us good conditions to fight for a place in the Allsvenskan, says Månsson club website.
