IK Sävehof was the favorite in the first round of the ATG Swedish Cup. The Gothenburg team won with a 31-18 superior score over Skånela IF.

Skånela got off to a great start scoring all three of his shots on goal which meant 3-0 early in the game. Then they continued to convince and Sävehof probably had time to think about the form a bit.

But soon the favorites were in the lead and after Skånela scored 7-8, Sävehof scored six goals in a row. After that it continued and the Gothenburg team led with an incredible 20-9 at the break.

Sävehof also continued to completely dominate in the second half, and the lead fluctuated between ten and fifteen goals. The match ended 31-18 and Sävehof won two points in the Swedish Cup group stage. Skånela can keep chasing Kungälvs HK and Rimbo HK Roslagen.
