Slovakian fighter faces UFC fight, opponent changed at the last minute

On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, a real challenge awaits the Slovakian defeated Martin Buday. In Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender series, he fights for the UFC. The 29-year-old wrestler will face Lorenzo Hood, who replaced injured Hugo Cunha at the last minute.

For Martin Buday, the chances of life are looming. He will face American Lorenzo Hood on Tuesday, October 12, and the winner has a good chance of securing a contract in the prestigious UFC. Slovak heavyweight champion Oktagon also weighed in, weighing 119.9 kilograms.

In addition, the 29-year-old fighter has to prepare for a new opponent. He was initially supposed to clash with Hugo Cunha, but he was injured a week before the duel. Buday’s new opponent is the already mentioned Hood, who weighed 116.8 kilograms before the expected duel. The American replacement is certainly not a cheer. He has won the last three matches, all in the first round before the limit.

If Buday convinces UFC boss Dan White of his abilities, he can become the second Slovak in the world’s most prestigious MMA organization. Currently, Lajoš Klein is already working here, who will face Nate Landwehr in his third game this weekend.
