The Toronto house is turning into a Halloween light show this weekend

Halloween is just around the corner and that means the revival of your favorite haunted activities like haunted houses and light festivals.

This year you don’t have to leave the city to see a ghostly light show.

Savage Lights returns this year to get you into the haunted spirit and raise money for sick children. Located in Etobicoke, this Toronto family home is turning into a Halloween light show this weekend.

The annual light show has been running twice a year since 2018, during the Halloween season and winter holidays.

Like their Christmas lights counterpart, the light show will feature more than 60,000 LED lights synced to festive music and a 92-inch handcrafted screen to display animated lights.

Albert Barone, the owner of the house, told blogTO that he is happy to make the neighborhood happy again and raise money for a good cause.

“I chose SickKids because for me the holidays are all about the kids and what better way to share the light of the season than to support a hospital that constantly strives to do better and help children and their families support,” says Barone.

The light show is located at 1 Fletcher Place and runs from October 29 through October 31.

There are no tickets for the event but a donation to SickKids is recommended. The family’s goal is to raise $5,000 for the hospital this year.

For those in Scarborough wanting to visit a Halloween attraction closer to home, there’s a spooky decorated house on Brenyon Way.

It’s also the last weekend of the season to check out the scary house in Glenlake and Dorval near the Junction Triangle.

For those who like more of a super scary spooky rides, the haunted office has extended opening hours this weekend.
