Pele has left the hospital. The health of a Brazilian legend

Legendary football player Pele underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his colon at Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo. The footballer left hospital 10 days after surgery but returned to the ward shortly after as part of preventive measures. He did not return home until September 30, about which he himself informed fans around the world via Instagram.

“Focus on your happiness”

During his hospital stay, Pele regularly posted updated information about himself on Instagram and Facebook. In every post he showed his positive attitude towards his surgery and the rehabilitation he is undergoing. The legendary footballer’s latest post relates to his discharge from hospital. “When the road is tough, celebrate every step of your journey,” wrote the three-time World Cup winner. “Focus on your luck,” Pele added.

“It is true that I will not be able to jump anymore, but in recent days I have raised my fist more than usual in a gesture of victory,” wrote the legendary footballer. In the post, Pele also thanked the staff at the hospital where he stayed. The 80-year-old former Santos footballer also expressed his gratitude to all the fans who sent him messages full of positive emotions.
