Three weeks ago, a car with a Polish license left the road between Strand and Klövån, and there the car is still on the road, despite the notice to the Swedish transport administration. Update Monday:

Case update Monday 8:15 a.m.:

In tomorrow’s contact with the Swedish Transport Administration, Jörgen Stattin and the PEAB in Strömsund Christoffer, the matter should now be close to action. (picture of car wreck is emailed to Stattin).

The traffic controller with whom we had contact before is on vacation and it is now Jörgen Stattin who, hopefully, will take care of the file. He will contact the PEAB in Strömsund, who will in turn load a tow truck to immediately remove the car. For understandable reasons, PEAB cannot issue an order to carry out the salvage work until the Swedish Transport Administration has entrusted it with the task.

But now the car must be removed as soon as possible, that’s the answer we got on Monday morning.

Two weeks had passed after a single accident north of Strand in the direction of Klövån where a car registered in Poland left the road. Two people were taken to hospital. No one appeared to be responsible for the removal of the car and numerous private individuals contacted the Affärsnytt Norr to find out why the car had not been removed. It is a traffic hazard. We called the Swedish Transport Administration.

Daniel Mossberg who is a traffic informant We come to the Swedish transport administration and he can give an answer: and he gets upset that the car is still there after two weeks.

– Is the car still there? It is absolutely not good that he is still there after two weeks. I’ll take care of it right away so the car can go. There must have been a miscommunication here as we need to get a report from the police when something like this happens. I understand very well that people react and find it bad, but it is especially a danger for traffic when cars brake and want to see what happened. But I’m going to drop the case and hope the car is removed immediately.

Listen and be surprised, the car is still there left on the road and people continue to be annoyed by the nonchalance shown by the Swedish transport administration in this matter. Now it’s not just two weeks, but three weeks.

Yes, keep falling on itbut you shouldn’t have to in a case like this, when the Swedish transport administration has received information and promised to take action quickly.
