On Wednesday, January 19, representatives of the Lubuskie Economic Mission visited the most technologically advanced pavilions of the EXPO 2020 world exhibition in Dubai.
From Monday (January 17) Lubuskie is promoted at the EXPO 2020 World Expo in Dubai. Members of the Lubuskie Economic Mission, consisting of entrepreneurs, representatives of the scientific community and local government, chaired by a member of the Lubuskie Voivodeship Board of Directors, Marcin Jabłonski, conduct a series of meetings and business discussions aimed at conquering new sales markets and acquiring new entrepreneurs. In addition, Lubuskie has its own stand, designed by employees and students of the University of Zielona Góra, showing the economic potential of our region and its natural values. Wednesday they received the visit of the Commissioner General of the Polish section of EXPO 2020, Adrian Malinowskiwho was impressed by its original design.
Representatives from our region also found time to visit the most technologically advanced pavilions at the EXPO. The use of the most modern technologies is extremely impressive here.
Mobility Pavilion. Countries that have found themselves in the mobility zone include, among others, Finland, Australia, Russia and Poland. They are stories about the world and about people. Modern tools have made it possible to show the traditions and culture of countries, but also the future of the world, the ideas behind scientists and scientific and technological achievements. The exhibits evoke emotions, stimulate the imagination and awaken respect for the Earth and our planet. They also show the place of man in the universe.
Dubai EXPO is the most expensive and modern exhibition in history to date.
Lubusz economic mission with EU support
The Lubuskie delegation is made up of entrepreneurs and representatives of science and local government, chaired by a member of the Lubuskie voivodeship board Marcin Jabłonski. The mission is also assisted, among others, by the president of the parliament of the voivodship, Waclaw Maciuszonek, vice-president of the regional council Miroslaw Marcinkiewicz and a voivodship councillor, Sebastian Ciemnoczolowski.
The trip to the EXPO 2020 World Expo in Dubai was possible thanks to the implementation of an EU project under the Lubuskie 2020 Regional Operational Program. The co-financing of the economic mission amounts to 85% . costs.
